I was surprised to read recently, the British people are some of the widest travelers in the world. I know a fair few people who never left UK but many more when I came to Korea. I've met so many people here who have never been to another country. The furthest they've been, it seems, is Jeju Island. It turns out that only 8 percent of Brits have never been abroad. It does help that we're such a small country with good links to Europe. You can easily have a day-trip to Paris. But still, traveling is one of the biggest joys in life, and a way to push yourself beyond where you currently are. If you've never been abroad, maybe it's about time.
